Dr Patterson completed her medical degree at the University of Queensland, and undertook specialist urology training through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. She has trained and worked across major tertiary centres in Queensland and New South Wales, including a renal transplantation fellowship at John Hunter Hospital.
